Сегодня утром в резиденции генерал-губернатора Канады Дэвида Джонстона (David Johnston) 43-летний премьер-министр Канады Джастин Трюдо, победивший на федеральных выборах 19 октября 2015 года, принял присягу и официально объявил состав своего кабинета министров.
Кабинет нового, 23-го по счету, премьера Канады сформировали десять министров из Онтарио, шестеро – из Квебека, пять министров из Атлантических провинций, трое из Британской Колумбии и по одному из каждой оставшейся провинции. В общей сложности он насчитывает 30 членов, по сравнению с 39-ю в правительстве Харпера, и состоит, согласно предвыборным обещаниям Трюдо, из равного количества мужчин (15) и женщин (15).
